The RBSRA mission is to increase the knowledge and performance level of all Association members, through training, mentoring, and assessing. We are the last existing Referees Association in Eastern Pennsylvania and take pride in our continuing support to you, our referee base.

The Reading-Berks Soccer Referee Association (RBSRA) strives to bring its members information, programs and events that are current and relevant to their referee environment. We alert you to changes in the Laws OF The Game and help you interpret them. We cover hot topics and trends in the way you are working games. We help you get questions answered and issues resolved, though established relationships with EPYSA, EPSARC, local assignors, regional leagues, and the Berks County clubs that play in those leagues.
RBSRA has a heavy emphasis on providing support to the new(er) referee, but has programs and events for referees of all experience levels. We continually look for innovative ways that we can connect with you. Some of the ways we do this are:

- The RBSRA website
- The Center Circle - our quarterly newsletter
- Entry level referee classes
- You're A Referee...Now What? - an event for new referees that gives them practical tips for successfully launching their referee career.
- CrossTalk - an event for new(er) referees to meet one another, tell wars stories, and get solutions and support from each other and experienced referees who guide the discussion.
- On The Field - a gathering of our membership community to watch a Reading United game. This is a fun event and an opportunity to meet and network with your fellow referee.
- Buddies - experienced RBSRA referees are paired with new referee members, to give them someone to turn to with questions and for help solving referee issues.
- Mentors - experienced RBSRA referees help new referee members get through their first games, by working the game alongside them, providing feedback on their performance, and making suggestions on things needed for improvement.
- Buddy Picnic - a summertime event for our Buddies and the junior buddy they've been paired with.
- End of Year Dinner - we wrap up the year with a dinner at a local establishment. This is another good opportunity to meet and network with fellow referees in the RBSRA community.
